The group of people behind A Time to Connect hope to connect LGBTQ+ people, their family members, and allies with the MB world to each other for ongoing support in often unsafe congregational contexts. They envision helping to create safe spaces / support groups within & between MB congregations across Canada. 

According to their About Us -  “A Time to Connect seeks to make safe and caring connections for LGBTQ+ people and/or their allies in the Mennonite Brethren world. 

We can connect you with others, point to resources, and provide reading material.  We will not pass your information on to anyone without your permission.  We are not an emergency line, and this email is not monitored 24/7. If you are in need of emergency mental health support, call 9-8-8 in Canada.”
